ADVERTISEMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

Subject to signature of the publisher’s Terms of Acceptance and Credit Approval. Advertisements placed on an approved account basis are to be paid within 7 days of the publication date of the magazine. All smalls advertisements are to be paid before the publication material deadline.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Images can be sent in the following file formats, resolution must be 300dpi at actual size to achieve the necessary sharpness and reproduction of the image. All full page, half page and third page advertisers are directly linked to their own websites via the African Pilot Website at no additional fee.
Aviation Image Library: African Pilot has a wide range of stock images in our library, representing aviation from all over the world.

DESIGN AND PRODUCTION SERVICES

Athol Franz has been active in the advertising industry for thirty four years, during which time many successful advertising campaigns have been managed on behalf of clients. For this reason we are ideally placed to assist our clients with the improvement or production of their advertisements for business.

African Pilot is printed using the digital disc to plate system. We wish to point out that any advertisement produced ‘free of charge’ for our clients remains the copyright of this business. Should the advertiser wish to place the advert produced by this business in any other publication, the costs will be for the client’s account.

Gate Fold: We are offering a commercial perforated pull-out poster to be inserted into African Pilot each month. The poster is essentially an inexpensive 4 or 6 page brochure, and is printed separately to the magazine on heavier duty paper (135 gsm). Should you require an additional print run-on to the same high standard, this can be arranged. All costs involved with the design of the gate fold are included in the budget.

ABC Certified: African Pilot is a member of the Audit Bureau of Circulations of South Africa. ABC conducts an official audit every quarter where all the circulation data of its members is verified. African Pilot currently prints
9 000 copies of the magazine each month.

CORPORATE CALENDAR

Orders from September 2009 for the thirteen leaf prestige 2010 wall calendar. Photographs used were African Pilot / Canon monthly gallery winners. Individual company names are displayed throughout the year on the thirteenth leaf. The style of the 2010 calendar will be similar to the 2007/2008/2009 calendar.
