In 2010 CDC Aviation launched a dedicated Cirrus Flight Training Centre offering potential students flight training on modern, safe, glass cockpit equipped aircraft at highly competitive prices. CDC Aviation is also the agent for the very popular Cirrus SR-Series as well as new Cirrus Personal Jet to be launched in South Africa early in 2019. CDC Aviation has a well-equipped service centre specifically for Cirrus aircraft.

SAO offers fixed wing training from ab-intro, PPL through to CPL and ATPL. SAO operates a fleet consisting of 1 x Piper 140, 3 x Piper 180, 2 x Cessna C172 and 1 x Piper Navajo, 1 x Piper Chieftain. SAO also offers all types of ratings, ranging from night and instrument ratings to crop spraying. SAO operates from Grand Central Airport, Midrand.

SAO offers Helicopter flight training from ab-intro, PPL (H) through to CPL (H). SAO operates a fleet consisting of Enstrom Piston Helicopter’s, rated as the best training helicopter in the World and the Enstrom 480B Turbine and other Helicopter types including Robinson R22 or R44 as preferred by the student. SAO offers ratings for crop spraying, slinging, night and instrument ratings, special military training and more. Ground school and helicopter pilot accessories available. SAO operates from Grand Central Airport, Midrand.
